a concert on a floating barge

When we received the brief for this event we knew we were in for an exciting, unique event; a concert on the quay in Williamstown at the Royal Victorian Motor Yacht Club.

This event had multiple objectives, to raise awareness and funds for the Williamstown Hospital Appeal but also to be a community event.

White Knight Events worked closely with the Western Health Foundation team providing end to end management and ensuring each objective was met.

Kate Ceberano and Shaun Micallef featured along with the Sweethearts and the Royal Australian Navy Band. Performances on the floating barge were a great hit with guests as they either enjoyed premium food and wine in the VIP function or had a picnic on the lawn with their friends and family.

Along with managing all aspects of the planning and operations, having a concert on a floating barge presented many challenges; We took these in our stride calculating all safety requirements and ensuring they were adhered to.

We absolutely loved working with the WHF team on this event and it is one we will never forget.

With money raised from this event, the Williamstown Hospital Appeal coasted over the half way point having raised over $1M.

"White Knight Events is, hands down, the most efficient and professional event management company I have worked with. They delivered a complex event, with extremely important stakeholders, disparate artists, on a barge on the bay, and somehow managed to run the event to the minute. The minute! People are still talking about it!"
