Over $530,000 was raised at the OTIS Foundation Ball in November 2019, an incredible achievement. This prestigious event was held in the Palladium at Crown where over 800 guests were treated to fine dining and premium entertainment. Every $75 raised allowed OTIS to gift one night of retreat accommodation to someone experiencing breast cancer and their family.
White Knight Events was invited back to produce the OTIS Foundation Ball for the second time. We took care of all aspects from initial stages right through to operations and wrap up. We developed the full budget, critical path, sponsorship prospectus, theme and both the event and silent auction websites. We worked with various stakeholders, including board members and sponsors, managed the guests and their requirements, developed and managed a donated goods and services register and even packed some hampers ourselves for the silent auction.
White Knight Events managed the whole event taking care of everything from the entertainment and MC, audio visual requirements, fundraising activations, volunteers and accommodation to financials, risk management, extensive documentation and fine details.
We worked closely with the OTIS Foundation team to ensure we remained on brand, utilised their assets and leveraged partnerships.
The event was a huge success with over half a million dollars raised; over $115,000 in the live auction alone.
There were 175 items in the silent auction and, having online bidding meant that over $20,000 was raised prior to the event starting.
20 companies sponsored the event and these relationships were cultivated by board and staff members during and post event.
We received wonderful feedback from all involved.
"What a consummate professional you are! It was such an honour to witness you weave your event magic so seamlessly on Saturday night.
Yes it is quite true 'It takes a village', It is also true that all villagers are more productive with magnificent orchestration like yours.
Serious congratulations."
